Obedient Movement Endorses Senator Nenadi Usman As Caretaker National Chairman

In a joint statement signed by Eze Morrison Onyenmaechi and Dr. Danjuma Sale, the groups praised Usman’s significant contributions to both Kaduna State and the nation during her role as a member of the party’s presidential campaign council in the 2023 election.

The statement expressed strong support, saying, “We, the support groups, the Great Obidients, and LP Stakeholders in the State, stand firmly behind Sen. Nenadi Usman and pledge our unwavering support for her appointment as the chairman of the Labour Party national caretaker committee.”

They voiced confidence in her leadership, stating that Usman’s skills and experience would help to reposition the party by organizing inclusive congresses at all levels, from the ward and local government to the national convention.

The support groups also highlighted Usman’s pivotal role in mobilizing the Obidient movement through her contributions, including materials such as banners, T-shirts, and financial support, which bolstered the movement’s strength nationwide.

The group called on all members and leaders within the Labour Party, as well as the broader Obidient movement, to unite behind Usman’s leadership as head of the national caretaker committee.
