Obi Names Ibrahim Umar As New Spokesman

Ibrahim Umar will now serve as the spokesperson for Peter Obi Media Reach (POMR), the new position created by Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s (LP) presidential candidate in the general election of 2023.

The POMR’s most recent spokesperson, Yunusa Tanko, made the announcement in a statement on Sunday.

This comes after Tanko was named the Obedient Movement’s acting national coordinator.

“A graduate of Bayero University Kano (BUK) with a background in computer media analysis, he (Umar) is from Wase Plateau State; he is a member of the Obi-Datti Media Group and a young, strong Obidient member from North Central,” Tanko stated.

Speaking about the situation, Umar stated that Tanko’s appointment will allow him to oversee both domestic and global Obedient Movement operations.

“We, therefore, appeal to members of the public to cooperate with these Nigerians in their new endeavour as we continue the struggle towards dismantling the gang of political criminals holding our dear nation hostage,” he said.
