Edo Guber: APC Reps Caucus Donates N200m To Support Okpebholo, Idahosa

The All Progressives Congress (APC) caucus in the House of Representatives has made a significant contribution to support the party’s candidate, Monday Okpebholo, and his running mate, Dennis Idahosa, in the upcoming Edo State Governorship Election.

According to a statement released by the Chairman of the APC Reps’ Fundraising Committee, Benjamin Kalu, the caucus donated N200 million to aid the party’s campaign efforts.

The donation, made by individual APC members in the 10th House, demonstrates the caucus’s solidarity and loyalty to the party. Okpebholo and Idahosa, both sitting members of the National Assembly, have received the caucus’s unwavering support in their bid for the Edo State governorship.

The statement emphasized the caucus’s determination to ensure the party’s victory in Edo State, highlighting their commitment to supporting Okpebholo and Idahosa, who have consistently shown capacity and competence in their public service.

The cheque for the donation was presented by the Leader of the House, Prof Julius Ihonvbere, at a ceremony attended by notable figures, including the Clerk of the House of Representatives, Yahaya Danzaria, and the Chief of Staff to the Speaker, Prof Jake Dan-Azumi.
