‘What’s Wrong With Asking?’ — VDM Replies Phyna

Social media critic VeryDarkMan has responded to allegations by former BBNaija winner Phyna that he withdrew from her late sister’s case after she allegedly rejected his sexual request.

Reacting in an Instagram video, VeryDarkMan denied ever making such an advance and challenged Phyna to present the evidence she claimed to have.

The controversy began after Phyna alleged that the activist distanced himself from her family matter because she refused his alleged request.

While dismissing the accusation, VDM argued that even if he had expressed romantic or sexual interest, both parties were consenting adults and there would have been nothing inappropriate in making such a request.

He stressed that he never asked to sleep with Phyna but maintained that seeking consent between adults should not be criminalised.

The exchange has since sparked reactions online, with fans debating the claims and the nature of the fallout between both personalities.
