NAF Airstrike Hits Boko Haram Hideouts, Destroys Command Hub In Borno

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has carried out a precision night airstrike on Boko Haram enclaves in Chikide and Degbewa, Borno State, dealing heavy losses to the terrorist group.

Acting on credible intelligence and surveillance, the NAF targeted insurgent hideouts in the Mandara Mountains, where notorious terrorist leader Ali Ngulde and his fighters were reportedly gathered.

A statement on Tuesday by NAF Deputy Director of Public Relations, Group Captain Kabiru Ali, confirmed that the operation destroyed fortified terrorist structures, including a solar-powered command hub, and neutralized scores of insurgents.

“This precision strike successfully disrupted Boko Haram’s operations, ignited large fires, and eliminated key logistics and command centers,” the statement read.

The NAF emphasized that the successful nighttime raid underscores its dominance in day and night air operations, reaffirming its commitment to eradicating terrorist networks and restoring peace to the region.
