Singer Marianne Faithfull Dies At 78

Legendary singer and actress Marianne Faithfull has passed away at the age of 78, her spokesperson confirmed.

Faithfull, known for hits like “As Tears Go By” and films such as The Girl On A Motorcycle (1968), died peacefully in London, surrounded by family.

“It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Marianne Faithfull,” a statement read. “She will be dearly missed.”
