Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has reaffirmed his deep-rooted belief in African traditions, declaring that he will never abandon the ways of his ancestors.

In a post shared on Instagram, Edochie described himself as a “Hardcore Traditionalist”, criticizing Africans who distance themselves from their heritage due to societal judgment.

“Because of fear of what people will say, Africans are running away from their powerful African religion, their originality. Abomination!!! I will never abandon the ways of my forefathers. It is built on truth, transparency, and fairness.”

The actor emphasized that African traditions are based on integrity and fairness, urging people to embrace their roots instead of seeking validation from external influences.
