“Your Family Is My Family.” Odunlade Responds To Portable Over Viral Video

Popular Nollywood actor, Odunlade Adekola, has responded to singer Portable’s warning regarding a viral video featuring the actor and Portable’s baby mama, actress Ashabi Simple.

Portable had confronted Odunlade after a clip surfaced online showing Ashabi hugging the actor on a movie set.

In the video, Odunlade playfully teased Ashabi, asking if she had obtained Portable’s permission before hugging him.

However, Portable did not take the remark lightly and sent a direct message to Odunlade, questioning his intentions and warning him not to disrespect his family.

In response, Odunlade clarified that his comment was made in good humor and was not meant to offend Portable or his family. He reassured the singer, saying, “My brother, good evening. I’m just seeing this. I love you, and I think you know that. I can never disrespect you or your home. Your family is my family.”

Portable, seemingly satisfied with the explanation, responded with appreciation and respect for the actor, saying, “I respect you, boss. I really appreciate you. God bless you.”

The exchange has since calmed any tension, with fans applauding the maturity displayed by both celebrities.
