Renowned Nollywood actor, Ibrahim Chatta, has stirred reactions after claiming that award-winning singer, Davido, is wealthier and more influential than his billionaire father, Adedeji Adeleke.

Chatta made this statement while advising young people to show respect to those in positions of authority, regardless of age.

He emphasized that true leadership and influence are not determined by age but by achievements and impact.

Using historical references, Chatta pointed out that Alexander the Great achieved extraordinary feats at a young age, surpassing many older and more experienced leaders.

He likened this to Davido’s success, stating that the singer’s influence surpasses that of his father.

“God has placed certain people in positions of power, yet people tend to focus on their age. It’s not about age; anyone who possesses the attributes of an elder is an elder,” Chatta said.

He continued, “Alexander the Great began ruling at 20 and died at 33, yet his accomplishments exceeded those of historical figures like Julius Caesar and Adolf Hitler. Despite his young age, he was an elder.

“In the same way, Wizkid and Davido are elders. I once sat with Davido and saw how people were willing to do anything just to get close to him.

His father may be a billionaire who has been successful for years, but Davido’s wealth and influence are greater. If his father walks by, people might not recognize him, but if Davido does, there will be a stampede.”
