Fintiri Enacts Five New Laws To Strengthen Health, Education In Adamawa State

Adamawa State Governor Ahmadu Fintiri has signed five significant bills into law, each aimed at advancing critical sectors, including water, health, education, and agriculture.

The legislation includes the Adamawa State Water Supply and Sanitation Hygiene Services Law 2024, designed to improve and regulate water management. 

The Adamawa State Health Supplies Management Agency Law 2024 modernizes health services by replacing the outdated Essential Drugs Programme Edict of 1996. 

Additionally, the Teachers Service Commission Law 2024 establishes a formal body for teacher management and development, while the Adamawa State College of Agriculture, Science, and Technology Ganye Law 2024 aims to enhance agricultural education. 

The Adamawa State College of Nursing Sciences Law 2024 will support the training of healthcare professionals in nursing sciences.

Chief Press Secretary Humwashi Wonosikou stated that Governor Fintiri emphasized the importance of collaboration in implementing these laws to ensure their success.
