Ogun High Court Restricts #FearlessInOctober Protest to 3 Stadiums

A High Court in Abeokuta, Ogun State, has restricted members of the #FearlessInOctober protest movement to specific venues.

The venues are as follows MKO Abiola Stadium in Abeokuta, Gateway International Stadium in Sagamu, Dipo Dina Stadium in Ijebu Ode, and Ansar-Ud-Deen Comprehensive High School in Ota.

Justice Tajudeen A. Okunsokan issued the order following an application by the Attorney-General of Ogun State in case no AB/667/2024, involving protest leaders including Afolabi Adeboye, Ifemosu Michael, and Lekan Soneye, among others.

The court also instructed the Ogun State Commissioner of Police to enforce the ruling, which will be effective for seven days under Order 39 of the High Court Civil Procedure Rules.
