Marketers Ready To Embrace Dangote Refinery Petrol- IPMAN

The President of the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association (IPMAN), Chinedu Maigandi, has confirmed that marketers are open to purchasing petrol from Dangote Refinery, provided the prices are competitive.

He dismissed claims of a potential boycott, stating that the association is eager to explore partnerships with the new refinery.

Maigandi revealed that IPMAN held a meeting to discuss a partnership proposal from Dangote Refinery. While the specific details of the pricing were not disclosed, the association expressed optimism about the potential benefits of working with the refinery.

“We are ready to purchase petrol from Dangote Refinery if the prices are competitive,” Maigandi stated. “Our goal is to ensure that Nigerians have access to affordable and reliable fuel.”

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPCL) also confirmed that it is in negotiations with Dangote Refinery to determine the pricing for its petrol. The company expects the product to be available in the market by September 15.
