President Tinubu To Meet Chinese Counterpart in Beijing

Presidential spokesman Chief Ajuri Ngelale has announced that President Bola Tinubu is scheduled to meet with the President of the People’s Republic of China in Beijing by early September.

Although the exact departure date is yet to be confirmed, the visit promises to be a significant opportunity for Nigeria to strengthen economic relations with China.

During his trip, President Tinubu will engage in a series of meetings with his Chinese counterpart and 10 CEOs of major corporations, aiming to secure benefits for Nigeria. The discussions will focus on bilateral agreements, Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs), and cooperation in various sectors.

Additionally, President Tinubu will address issues related to national, regional, and international security. A key aspect of his visit will be the completion of the Abuja to Ibadan segment of the Lagos-Kaduna standard railway.
