BBNaija’s Doyin Fails Nobel Laureate, IGP Questions

During a live television event, Doyin David, a former “All-Star” housemate on Big Brother Naija, shown a lack of awareness of fundamental current affairs in Nigeria.

According to THE MATRIX, the BBNaija star was asked incorrect names for Nigeria’s Nobel laureate and Inspector General of Police during an appearance on Channels TV’s Morning Brief show.

The interviewer asked: “Who is the IGP?”

Doyin replied: “I do not know that man. I’m so sorry.”

Interviewer: “Nigeria has a Nobel laureate, what is his name?”

She responded, “Again, I do not know. You know what, I’m in entertainment. Ask me about entertainment.”

However, the interviewer later gave hints, and Doyin mentioned Wole Soyinka.
