The Deputy Governor Lawrence Ewhrudjakpor has described the former governor of the state and senator representing Bayelsa West at the National Assembly as a quintessential leader with an uncommon grace to impact lives and society positively, this was contained in a goodwill message to Congratulate the former governor on his 58th birthday issued by his Senior Special Assistant on Media Mr Doubara Atasi yesterday in Yenagoa.
In the message, The Deputy Governor said that Dickson’s two-term tenure as Governor of Bayelsa state was historic and unprecedented with remarkable legacies in infrastructural development and innovations in governance.
He noted that the initiatives of the Restoration Agenda introduced by Senator Dickson’s government is still a veritable template for successive administrations in the state while describing Senator Dickson as a great political strategist and worthy representative of the aspirations and interests of not only the people of Bayelsa West but the entire Ijaw Nation.
The Deputy Governor commended Dickson for his pan-Ijaw posture and invaluable contributions to the emergence of the Prosperity Administration in 2020 and the re-election of Governor Douye Diri in the November 11, 2023 election, describing him as a leader who leads from the front asserting that the celebrant’s dexterity, vibrancy and capacity would continue to be an asset to Bayelsa West in The National Assembly. He implored God to grant the celebrant good health, wisdom and the grace to serve God and humanity better.
“I am always proud to identify with you for the guidance and effective representation you are giving to our people. Let me especially thank you for the invaluable role you played in ensuring the emergence of the present administration in Bayelsa State. “As you mark another birthday today being the 28th day of January, it is my prayer that the good Lord will endow you with more grace and good health to serve Him and humanity.” The message read in part.
