2. Ohanaeze Appeals to Kanu, Orders Biafra Agitators to Ceasefire for 40 days
The apex Igbo group, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, has urged both Nnamdi Kanu and Biafra agitators to be calm and uphold a 40-day ceasefire respectively.
Ohanaeze begged for a ceasefire with the aimed of securing the release of Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).

3.Thieves abscond with monarch’s crown, staff of office in Ogun
Some thieves have carted away with staff of office and crown of late Oba James Sodiya, the Olu of Ogunmakin town in Obafemi-Owode Local Government Area of Ogun State.
These men reportedly broke into the palace of the late monarch, who had just died two months ago.
The Ogun State Police spokesperson, Omolola Odutola, confirmed the incident while addressing the newsmen in Abeokuta on Saturday, disclosing that three suspects have been arrested in connection with the crime. READ ALSO
