The White House has revealed that President Joe Biden is “deeply concerned” about the apparent leak of classified US intelligence assessments on Israel’s military preparations for a potential strike on Iran.
The files, which surfaced on the social media platform Telegram, include satellite imagery analysis of Israeli military activities, suggesting possible actions involving air-launched ballistic missiles and covert drone operations.
White House spokesperson John Kirby addressed the situation, stating, “The president remains deeply concerned about any leakage of classified information into the public domain. That is not supposed to happen, and it’s unacceptable when it does.”

The origin of the leak remains uncertain, with US officials unsure whether the files were leaked or hacked.
The documents, believed to have been prepared by the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, assess that while Israel appears to be preparing for an attack on Iran, the scale and timing remain uncertain.
US officials have reportedly confirmed the documents’ authenticity.
An investigation into the leak is currently underway, and US House Speaker Mike Johnson is expected to receive a briefing on the matter.
This incident follows previous major leaks of US military intelligence in recent years.

The leak comes as tensions between Israel and Iran continue to escalate, with both sides engaging in retaliatory attacks.
President Biden, while optimistic about containing the conflict, has not disclosed any formal diplomatic measures to prevent further escalation. Iranian officials have warned of a decisive response to any Israeli aggression.
As the situation unfolds, the Biden administration has expanded sanctions on Iran’s oil and petrochemical sectors in response to missile launches against Israel.
