N15m Bribery: Bobrisky Contemplates Suicide

Nigerian transvestite Idris Okuneye, also known as Bobrisky, has expressed thoughts of taking his own life in the wake of accusations that he paid N15 million in bribes.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) agents were presented with an audio recording of Bobrisky making an offer of N15 million by well-known activist and social media influencer Martins Vincent Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan.

The money was intended to both save him from incarceration at the Kirikiri Correctional Center in Lagos State and to allow the anti-graft agency to dismiss money laundering allegations against him.

But the transvestite rejected the audio’s substance, calling it phony. However, in a Facebook post, Bobrisky said he is considering suicide due to attempts to belittle him.

He wrote: “I have never in my life thought about suicide in my life but now is coming to my head seeing what human being are doing to their fellow human just in the name you want to bring them down by force or because you don’t like them.

“I don’t need no sympathy from anyone. People I might have need sympathy from are my late parent. But who will fight for you? Friends? Haters you won.”
