Nollywood actress Laide Bakare has dismissed her colleague Eniola Badmus’ public apology amid their ongoing feud, describing it as fake.
Badmus had on Tuesday apologised to Bakare and expressed her desire to make peace with her following the controversy surrounding her recent interview with social media personality Isbae U.
The apology came after Badmus faced criticism over her facial expression when Bakare’s name was mentioned during the interview.
Reacting in a post on her Instagram page, Bakare simply wrote, “Fake apology,” indicating that she was not satisfied with the reconciliation attempt.
The disagreement between the two actresses dates back to April 2025, when they were involved in a public altercation at the premiere of the movie Owambe Thieves.
Despite Badmus’ recent public appeal for peace, Bakare’s response suggests that the dispute between the actresses remains unresolved.
