Elon Musk Hails Bach As ‘Shakespeare Of Music’

Billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk has described German composer Johann Sebastian Bach as the greatest musician of all time, comparing his influence on music to William Shakespeare’s impact on literature.

Musk made the remark in a post on his X account, where he praised the classical composer.

“Johann Sebastian Bach is the Shakespeare of music. Best there ever was,” he wrote.

The post attracted thousands of reactions, drawing attention to Bach’s enduring influence on classical music.

Bach, who lived from 1685 to 1750, is widely regarded as one of the most influential composers in Western music history. His notable works include the Brandenburg Concertos, Mass in B minor and The Well-Tempered Clavier.

Musk, who frequently shares opinions on subjects ranging from science to philosophy and music on X, has previously expressed admiration for classical composers.
