Young Jonn Rejects Blaqbonez’s Collaboration Request Over Old Tweet

Producer-turned-singer Young Jonn has turned down a collaboration request from rapper Blaqbonez after revisiting an old 2015 tweet in which the rapper appeared to favour producer DJ Coublon over him.

The exchange began after Young Jonn posted about wanting five close friends with whom he could move around as a group.

Blaqbonez responded by expressing his willingness to join Young Jonn and collaborate with him, writing, “Oya, make we dey together, sing as one.”

However, Young Jonn responded by bringing up a 2015 post attributed to Blaqbonez, in which the rapper said he preferred DJ Coublon to Young Jonn.

Sharing a screenshot of the old post, Young Jonn replied to Blaqbonez, “Go sing as one with Coublon.”

Blaqbonez subsequently denied making the comparison himself, explaining that the tweet was posted by his social media handler in 2015.

The exchange has since attracted reactions online, with fans weighing in on the playful back-and-forth between the two Nigerian artistes.
