Abducted Justice Bunza Regains Freedom, Reunites With Family

Justice Faruku Hassan Bunza of the Kebbi State High Court has regained his freedom after spending one week in captivity following his abduction by suspected bandits.

A family member confirmed the judge’s release on Monday, saying he had returned home safely.

“We are in jubilation and full of gratitude to God for seeing our own return safely from captivity. He was just released and has returned home now after spending one week with the bandits,” the relative said.

The family thanked the Kebbi State Judiciary, security agencies and residents for their prayers and support during the ordeal.

“We sincerely appreciate everyone who stood by us, offered prayers and messages of sympathy. Your concern and solidarity gave us strength,” the family member added.
