Makinde To Inaugurate Oyo APM Presidential, Governorship Campaign Council

Oyo State Governor and Allied People’s Movement (APM) presidential candidate, Seyi Makinde, will on Friday inaugurate the party’s Presidential and Governorship Campaign Council in Oyo State as preparations for the 2027 general elections gather momentum.

The inauguration will take place at the conference room of the Governor’s Office, with key party officials expected to oversee the launch of the campaign structure.

The party has appointed the Executive Chairman of the Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Dr. Nureni Adeniran, as the Oyo State Coordinator of the APM Presidential Campaign and Director-General of the Governorship Campaign Council.

Former Oyo East Local Government Chairman, Saheed Arowosaye, will serve as Deputy State Coordinator of the presidential campaign, while Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, Demola Ojo, has been named Deputy Director-General for Oyo South.

Dr. Femi Ojo and Alhaji Siju Lawal will oversee campaign activities in Oyo Central and Oyo North respectively, while Ramata Agberemi Dabo and Kazeem Bolarinwa have been appointed directors of the women’s and youth wings.

The party said more appointments to the presidential and governorship campaign structure will be announced as it strengthens its campaign machinery ahead of the 2027 elections.
