Keyamo, Ganduje Commend FAAN MD Over Upgraded Pilgrim Terminal At Lagos Airport

The Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo (SAN), and the Chairman of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) Board, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, have praised the Managing Director and Chief Executive of FAAN, Mrs. Olubunmi Kuku, following the successful upgrade of the Pilgrim Terminal at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA), Lagos.

The commendation came after the completion of the terminal’s facelift, which is aimed at improving passenger comfort and enhancing service delivery for pilgrims and other airport users.

The upgraded facility now boasts a 300-seat passenger waiting area, modern VIP and VVIP lounges, free high-speed Wi-Fi, a fully air-conditioned mosque, as well as enhanced screening and security systems.

According to FAAN, the project underscores the agency’s commitment to providing modern, passenger-centred airport infrastructure that meets global aviation standards.

The authority said the terminal upgrade aligns with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and reflects ongoing efforts to modernise Nigeria’s aviation infrastructure while improving the travel experience for passengers.
