We Wanted Options, Says Mr Eazi On Consulting Nine Doctors

Nigerian singer and entrepreneur Mr Eazi and his wife, actress Temi Otedola, have disclosed that they consulted nine doctors in different countries as they prepared for the birth of their first child.

Speaking on their podcast, the couple said they sought multiple medical opinions because they were undecided about where to have their baby.

Mr Eazi explained that the consultations were aimed at exploring available options, noting that he had hoped they would welcome their child in Japan.

“We didn’t know which country we were going to decide on. I wanted Japan,” he said, adding that he had even begun researching Japanese names for the baby.

Temi, however, laughed off the idea, saying she was not in support of giving their child a Japanese name.

The couple announced in May that they were expecting their first child, revealing that they discovered the pregnancy during their honeymoon in Asia. They tied the knot in a private ceremony in Iceland in August 2025.
