The Lagos State Executive Council of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) has received a Toyota Sienna space bus, donated by the Laja Adeoye Campaign Organization (LACO), to help enhance the party’s operational capacity and strengthen its mobilisation efforts, especially at the grassroots end of the political spectrum, in anticipation of the next political engagements.
The formal handover took place at a ceremony in the presence of the relevant authorities of both organizations, which, according to stakeholders, is a mutual desire to strengthen the party’s activities in all corners of Lagos State.
The Lagos State Coordinator of LACO, Otunba Sikirulahi Ademola Alebiosu, led the LACO delegation, followed by the Special Adviser on General Duties, Mr. Fadeyi Yusuf Olayiwola and top brass of the LACO campaign structure.
The Lagos State Chairperson of APM, Mrs. Adeyemo Sakirat; Lagos State Secretary, Mr. Abari Abiodun; Organising Secretary, Mr. Kolapo Akeem; Lagos State Youth Leader, Miss Adeyemo Zainab and other members of the state executive council received the vehicle on behalf of the party.
In the presentation, LACO’s representatives said that the donation was part of their continuous effort to boost the party in Lagos State for development and growth.
They believed that the car would enhance mobility, help to coordinate the party’s activities and increase the party’s outreach to members and supporters in the state’s diverse communities.
Political mobilization is essential for successful campaigns, but this needs to be backed up with good logistics and in a state such as Lagos, which is a large and very political region.
Speaking on behalf of the party, council members, representing the APM State Executive Council, thanked the Laja Adeoye Campaign Organization for its timely and thought-out action.
The party leadership said that the vehicle would play a great role in improving its operational efficiency and help to implement the party’s programmes to expand its influence at the grassroots.
The executives promised the donors that the car would be used productively in achieving the party’s goals and building party connections with the people of the state.
They also affirmed the vision and ideals of the Allied Peoples Movement, promising to step up the party’s activities to attract more supporters and make it more relevant politically in Lagos.

With preparations for future political contests in the state underway, the donation is supposed to give the Lagos APM leadership more capacity to conduct party activities.
