Oyebanji Dominates Polling Unit, Secures 326 Votes In Ekiti West

Ekiti State Governor and APC governorship candidate, Biodun Oyebanji, recorded a resounding victory at his polling unit on Saturday, polling 326 of the 333 votes cast at Unit 003, Oyebanji’s Compound, RA 04, in Ekiti West Local Government Area.

Official results from the unit showed that the ADC garnered two votes, while the ADP and AAC secured one vote each. The PDP failed to win any vote, while three ballots were declared invalid. The polling unit has 668 registered voters.

Oyebanji had earlier described the election as peaceful and the voter turnout as impressive after casting his ballot, despite reports of minor technical glitches in some areas. He expressed optimism that the outcome of the poll would enable his administration to sustain its development agenda for the state.
