Don Jazzy Eyes Uganda, Tanzania In Search For Love

Nigerian music mogul Don Jazzy has stirred online reactions after joking that he may need to search for a wife outside Nigeria, with Uganda and Tanzania emerging as possible options.

The music producer made the remark during a lighthearted exchange with fans on Instagram after a follower described him as an “African treasure” who belongs to the continent, not just Nigeria.

Responding, Don Jazzy said he sometimes feels connected to countries such as Ghana, South Africa and Uganda, despite never visiting the East African nation.

He later joked that his unsuccessful search for a wife in Nigeria could push him to East Africa, asking Ugandan women if they liked him and suggesting he might visit Uganda or Tanzania to find love.

The comments quickly triggered playful reactions from fans across social media, with many from different African countries flooding his comment section.

Don Jazzy’s love life has remained a topic of public interest since he revealed in 2021 that he was once married to Michelle Jackson, a union he said ended partly because of his deep commitment to music.
