McBurnie’s Stoppage-Time Goal Sends Hull City Back To Premier League

Hull City have secured promotion to the Premier League after a dramatic 1-0 victory over Middlesbrough in Saturday’s Championship play-off final.

The decisive moment came in the 94th minute when Oli McBurnie capitalised on a goalkeeping error to fire Hull back into the top flight.

The Tigers become the first team since Blackpool to finish sixth in the Championship and still win promotion through the play-offs.

They will join Coventry City and Ipswich Town in next season’s Premier League.
