Ronaldo Clinches First Trophy In Saudi As Al Nassr Win Pro League Title

Cristiano Ronaldo has ended a three-year wait for silverware in Saudi Arabia after he helped Al Nassr clinch the Pro League.

Ronaldo scored two as his side beat Damac 4-1 on the final day. 

Former Liverpool star Sadio Mane and Ex-PSG, Bayern Munich and Juventus forward Kingsley Coman were also on the scoresheet to win Al Nassr’s first title since 2019.

Al Nassr had hoped to have wrapped up the title win a game earlier, but were denied by a last-minute own goal against title rivals Al Hilal, leaving Ronaldo in tears. 

Ronaldo’s side had also suffered a defeat in the Asian Champions League Two final earlier this month. 

However, Ronaldo cried tears of joy after scoring his second of the game as Al Nassr bettered Al Hilal’s narrow 1-0 win over Al Fahya to claim the title.

Ronaldo ends the season with 28 goals in 30 Saudi Pro League appearances. He’s scored 102 in 107 league appearances since leaving Manchester United in 2023.
