Tehran Permits Chinese Ships Passage Through Strategic Strait Of Hormuz

Iran’s Revolutionary Guards have confirmed that naval authorities have allowed Chinese vessels to pass through the strategic Strait of Hormuz following an agreement on maritime management protocols.

The announcement was made on Thursday, stating that several ships began transiting the waterway from Wednesday night.

According to Iranian state media, more than 30 vessels were granted passage, although it remains unclear if all were Chinese.

The Strait of Hormuz, a critical global oil shipping route, has faced disruptions since the outbreak of conflict involving Iran, the United States, and Israel, raising concerns over global energy supply stability.

The latest development comes amid heightened international diplomatic activity, including high-level talks involving global powers.
