2027: Atiku Pays N90m For ADC Presidential Nomination Form

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has taken a formal step toward the 2027 presidential election after paying N90 million for the presidential nomination form of the African Democratic Congress.

The party confirmed on Saturday that the payment was made on May 8, 2026, and announced that the formal presentation of the nomination forms will take place on Monday at its national secretariat in Abuja.

In a statement posted on its official X handle, the ADC described the development as a significant moment in its push for “national renewal, democratic inclusion, and people-driven leadership” ahead of the 2027 general elections.
