Former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar has joined key opposition figures in Ibadan for a high-level political summit hosted by Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde.
The meeting drew prominent leaders including Rotimi Amaechi, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, Rauf Aregbesola, and Peter Obi.
Also in attendance were David Mark, Jerry Gana, Saminu Turaki, and Pat Utomi.
The summit is focused on national issues, shifting political alliances, and early preparations for the 2027 general elections, with analysts viewing it as a potential step toward building a broad opposition coalition.
