Nigerian content creator Shank Comics, born Adesokan Emmanuel, has been named Best Streamer 2026 at the SiGMA Africa Awards in Cape Town, South Africa.

The award was presented on March 3 during the summit’s gala night, celebrating excellence in gaming, technology and digital innovation across Africa.

The Best Streamer category honours creators who stand out for audience engagement and consistent content delivery. Organisers noted that the recognition highlights the growing global impact of African digital talents, particularly from Nigeria.

Shank Comics first gained attention through short comedy skits portraying relatable Nigerian experiences before transitioning into live streaming, where he built a loyal online community. His international profile expanded through collaborations with global streamers such as iShowSpeed and Kai Cenat.
