Asake Meets Ghana’s President Mahama After Accra Show

Award-winning singer Asake on Tuesday paid a courtesy visit to Ghana’s President John Mahama in Accra following his headline performance at the AfroFuture Ghana festival.

A video of the meeting, which also featured actor John Dumelo and businessman Ibrahima Mahama, sparked online reactions after Mahama joked about a fan who fired a gun during the concert.

Asake expressed regret over the incident, while Mahama said the suspect had been arrested and would face the law.
