Dangote Cement Assures Support For Phyna’s Sister After Truck Accident

Dangote Cement Plc has pledged full medical and financial support for Ruth Otabor, sister of Big Brother Naija Season 7 winner Phyna, after she lost a leg in an accident involving one of the company’s trucks in Auchi, Edo State.

The incident occurred six days after Ms Otabor graduated from Auchi Polytechnic. Witnesses said the truck ran over her leg before being stopped by bystanders, and the driver was apprehended.

In a statement, Dangote Cement said senior company officials and insurers had visited the victim at Irrua Specialist Teaching Hospital, assuring “comprehensive medical care and appropriate compensation” in line with its welfare policy.
