Transfer: Bayer Leverkusen Enters Race For Wilfred Ndidi

German Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen has joined the growing list of clubs interested in signing Nigerian midfielder Wilfred Ndidi from Leicester City.

Following Leicester’s relegation from the Premier League, Ndidi is reportedly eager to leave this summer. The 28-year-old has a £9 million release clause, making him an attractive prospect for top clubs across Europe.

Transfer expert Ben Jacobs reports that Manchester United have already held discussions with the player’s representatives, while Everton and two other unnamed Premier League clubs have also shown interest.

Ndidi is also drawing attention from abroad, with Spanish club Real Betis, Italian giants Juventus, and several Saudi Arabian teams monitoring his situation.

Ndidi, who joined Leicester City in January 2017, signed a new three-year deal last summer. His next move is expected to be a key step in the next phase of his career.
