U.S. President Donald Trump has called for the impeachment of a judge who ordered the suspension of deportation flights for alleged Venezuelan gang members, marking one of his most direct attacks on the judiciary to date.

In a post on his social media platform, Truth Social, on Tuesday, Trump expressed his frustration over the ruling, accusing the judge of being part of a biased legal system targeting him.

“This judge, like many of the Crooked Judges I am forced to appear before, should be IMPEACHED,” Trump wrote.

The former president’s remarks come amid heightened political tensions over immigration policies, which have become a central issue in his 2024 presidential campaign.

Trump has repeatedly criticized what he calls “soft” judicial decisions on immigration, arguing that they undermine national security.

The ruling in question temporarily halted deportation flights of Venezuelan nationals suspected of gang affiliation, a move that has drawn backlash from conservatives who advocate for stricter border control policies.

Trump’s attack on the judiciary is part of his broader ongoing criticism of the legal system, especially as he faces multiple court battles ahead of the upcoming Presidential election.
