North-Central APC Backs Ganduje, Declares Him Best ChoiceFor 2027″

The North-Central All Progressives Congress (APC) stakeholders have reaffirmed their support for the party’s National Chairman, Abdullahi Ganduje, passing a vote of confidence in his leadership.

The decision was reached during a stakeholders’ meeting in Abuja on Wednesday, as confirmed by Saleh Zazzaga, leader of the North-Central APC Forum.

Zazzaga stated that under Ganduje’s leadership, the party had strengthened significantly, securing key election victories in Ondo and Edo states and welcoming defectors from opposition parties.

“Following consultations with North-Central leaders and other stakeholders, we have given a pass mark to Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje. We urge President Bola Tinubu to allow him to continue leading the party,”the statement read.

The forum noted that 80% of their demands had been met, including key political appointments, infrastructure projects, and the North-Central Development Commission, recently signed into law by President Tinubu.

“The Tinubu administration has prioritized our region with key ministerial appointments and the creation of the North-Central Development Commission. These gains wouldn’t have been possible without the APC leadership under Ganduje,” Zazzaga added.

The forum emphasized that Ganduje remains the best choice to lead the APC into the 2027 general elections, citing his track record in party management and election victories.

Additionally, they pledged to mobilize four million votesfor Tinubu in 2027 as a show of support for his administration.

However, the stakeholders urged Ganduje to engage more with North-Central elders to further strengthen the party’s unity in the region.
