Ogun Police Warn Of Rising Cases Of Missing Persons

The Ogun State Police Command has raised alarm over a surge in cases of missing persons across all age groups in the state, with only a fraction of them being found.   

In a statement issued Tuesday night, the Police Public Relations Officer, CSP Omolola Odutola, highlighted the concerning trend and urged residents to remain vigilant. 

She revealed that the Commissioner of Police, CP Lanre Ogunlowo, has implemented measures to raise public awareness and enhance safety.  

Odutola advised parents to avoid entrusting their children to commercial transportation operated by strangers.

She also encouraged youths to utilize digital communication features on their devices, especially during emergencies.  

Residents were urged to report incidents or seek assistance through the police control room at 09164859299 or the Police Public Relations Department at 09159578888.
