Obasanjo Hosts MMA Star Francis Ngannou In Ogun

Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) champion Francis Ngannou paid a courtesy visit to former Nigerian president Olusegun Obasanjo at his office in Abeokuta, Ogun State.

Ngannou shared moments from the visit on his Instagram page on Monday, January 6, describing it as an inspiring encounter.

“It was an honor meeting the legendary former Nigerian president, H.E. Olusegun Obasanjo, yesterday at his home office in Abeokuta.

It was great receiving some words of wisdom from the legend,” the Cameroonian-French fighter wrote.

Ngannou recently arrived in Nigeria after celebrating the Christmas season in his native Cameroon.

Over the weekend, he was spotted in Lagos, socializing with Afrobeat superstar Burna Boy and former UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman

The visit to Nigeria follows Ngannou’s electrifying first-round knockout of Brazil’s Ricardo Ferreira in his Professional Fighters League (PFL) debut three months ago.
