Ghanaian President-Elect Mahama Visits Tinubu At Presidential Villa

Ghana’s President-Elect, John Dramani Mahama, visited Nigeria’s President Bola Tinubu on Monday at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.  

This visit was confirmed by Tinubu’s Special Assistant on Social Media, Dada Olusegun, who shared the news via a post on X.com on Tuesday.  

Olusegun wrote, “The President-Elect of Ghana, H.E. John Dramani Mahama, paid a courtesy visit to President Tinubu at his residence, Presidential Villa, State House Yesterday.”

The meeting followed Tinubu’s congratulatory message to Mahama after his victory in Ghana’s December 7 general election.  

During a recent telephone call, Tinubu expressed optimism about Mahama’s leadership, highlighting its potential to enhance stability in the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS). 

Tinubu also expressed eagerness to collaborate with Mahama’s administration to strengthen bilateral ties and promote progress in the region.
