President Bola Tinubu’s presentation of the ₦47.9 trillion 2025 budget to the National Assembly, initially scheduled for Tuesday, December 17, has been postponed to Wednesday, December 18, 2024.

The Supreme Court on Monday dismissed a lawsuit filed by Ambrose Owuru, the 2019 presidential candidate of the Hope Democratic Party, seeking the removal of President Bola Tinubu.
Owuru alleged that Tinubu was unfit for office due to accusations of being an active agent of the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency and a prior forfeiture of $460,000 in a drug-related case in the United States
10. Tinubu Approves Free Train Rides Nationwide
President Bola Tinubu has approved free train services across Nigeria from December 20, 2024, to January 5, 2025, to ease transportation costs during the festive season.
The Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, announced this to reporters in Abuja, stating, “As we did last year, there will be free train service for all Nigerians from December 20 up until January 5.
