Akiba Gifts Free Medical Outreach, Farm Inputs To Constituents

The member repre­senting Calabar Municipality/ Odukpani Federal Constituen­cy, Hon. Bassey Akiba, has extended a free medical outreach to his constituents in his effort to deliver health care services to his people,

A large number of people turned out to take advantage of the opportunity provided by Akiba in the free medical outreach. The venue of the outreach was The Nigerian Navy Reference Hospital, Calabar, services rendered includes surgeries, diagnostic tests, eye care, free eyeglasses, administering of drugs, treat­ment and consultations.

The programme stretched from November 8 to 15, 2024. With the second phase expected to be between 25 -29 November at  The Women and Children Hospital, Okuri­kang Okoyong, Odukpani Lo­cal Government Area of Cross River State.

In another development, Akiba, The Deputy Chairman, House Committee on Healthcare Services, dis­tributed farm inputs such as  fertilisers and good quality maize seeds to his constituents who are farmers in his effort at boosting food sufficiency in the constituency, this was done at The Eburutu Barracks in Calabar and farmers trooped out in their numbers to receive the inputs gleefully.
