FRSC Denounces Fake Recruitment Claims, Warns Public Against Scammers

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has refuted viral social media claims about an ongoing recruitment exercise, describing them as fraudulent and misleading.

In a statement released by the Corps Public Education Officer, Assistant Corps Marshal Olusegun Ogungbemide, the FRSC clarified that no recruitment process is currently underway, nor are there immediate plans for one.

Corps Marshal Shehu Mohammed urged the public, particularly job seekers, to disregard the fake announcements.

He emphasized that all legitimate recruitment activities are transparently communicated through official channels such as the FRSC website, verified social media platforms, and the National Traffic Radio 107.1FM.

Mohammed also warned against scammers impersonating FRSC representatives, cautioning that the Corps will not take responsibility for losses suffered by individuals who fall victim to such schemes.

The FRSC reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining integrity and transparency in its recruitment processes. Citizens are advised to report any suspicious activities to the appropriate authorities and verify updates through the FRSC’s official website, **www.frsc.gov.ng**, or via its official email.
