JUST IN: Tinubu Postpones FEC Meeting In Mourning Of Late COAS

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has postponed the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting following the passing of Chief of Army Staff Lt. General Taoreed Lagbaja.

A new date for the meeting will be announced later.

In a statement by Special Adviser Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu expressed deep respect for the late general, who served as Chief of Army Staff since June 19, 2023, until his death on November 5, 2024.

Tinubu has also ordered flags to be flown at half-staff nationwide for seven days in honor of General Lagbaja.
