PDP BoT Calls For Peace Amidst NWC Feud

The Board of Trustees (BoT) of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has issued a strong call for peace and unity among the feuding members of the National Working Committee (NWC).

In a statement released on Friday in Abuja, BoT Chairman Senator Adolphus Wabara expressed deep concern over the ongoing internal crisis within the party and urged all parties involved to de-escalate tensions and return to the status quo.

Wabara emphasized that while disagreements are natural, the PDP’s tradition of internal democracy must not be compromised. He assured members that the BoT would actively engage with the NWC to foster reconciliation and restore normalcy within the party.

“We remain committed to promoting peace, unity, and progress within the PDP, and we call on all party faithful and supporters to stay calm as we work together to resolve these issues,” Wabara concluded.
