How Jaruma Avoided Backlash For Selling Sex Products

Controversial self-described sex therapist Hauwa Mohammed, sometimes referred to as Jaruma, has revealed her marital motivation.

According to THE MATRIX, Jaruma wed Ross Fahad Isabor in 2018 and the two later got divorced in 2021. A kid was a blessing for the couple.

In an interview with the podcast “Issues and Society,” Jaruma said that the harsh criticism she faced from people in the north for being a single woman selling aphrodisiacs led her to get married.

“There was massive criticism from the north because I was selling sex products as a single lady. They wondered why people allowed a single lady to teach them what happens in the bedroom for lots of money.

“It wasn’t easy at all. The sex industry is a multi-billion industry, I have made N760 million in 3 years. So I thought the industry would not die and I have a booming business so I can’t just leave because of the heat I was going through.

“I just said if marriage is the problem, let me just do it. I didn’t get married because of love, I got married a month after meeting my ex-husband just to get away from the pressure I got from the north.

“He knew it was not for love but pressure because I told him.”

Recall that Ross Fahad Isabor came out in 2022 to warn Jaruma to stop using his name to sell her “fake products.”
