Osimhen Part Ways With Agent, Completes Galatasaray Move Without Calenda

Super Eagles star Victor Osimhen concluded his season-long loan transfer from Napoli to Galatasaray without the assistance of his Italian agent, Roberto Calenda.

The Matrix gathered that amidst failure to secure move to Chelsea, Osimhen’s trust in those around him was shaken after a transfer-day misstep, leading him to negotiate the Galatasaray move independently.

The player has reportedly given up on the idea of returning to Nigeria, citing a lack of trust in many individuals there.

Although, intermediary like George Gardi, who has connections with Turkish clubs, played a crucial role in facilitating the move, though Osimhen did much of the groundwork himself.

Gardi’s previous involvement in bringing Dries Mertens to Turkey solidified his reputation in the region. Osimhen, faced with limited options, accepted the Galatasaray destination and negotiated the specific terms of the deal at a later stage.
