Osimhen Priced Out of Napoli, Set for Turkish Transfer

Napoli have agreed to loan striker Victor Osimhen to Turkish champions Galatasaray. The deal comes after Osimhen’s failed transfer attempts to Chelsea and Al-Hilal.

Following his failed moves, Antonio Conte hinted that Osimhen might not be welcomed back into the Napoli squad. With the arrival of Romelu Lukaku, Osimhen’s future at the club seemed increasingly uncertain.

Napoli is likely to share a portion of Osimhen’s €10 million annual salary. Galatasaray might also contribute to the wages or potentially cover the entire amount.

Fabrizio Romano confirmed that Napoli has accepted a straight loan deal without an option to buy. Galatasaray will cover approximately £10 million of Osimhen’s salary.

The move is contingent on Osimhen’s approval. The Turkish transfer window closes on September 13.
